During the business trip to Belgrade on August 2-4, ADRIATIC BRIDGE PARTNERS representatives had a unique chance to meet with the Ambassador of Japan to Serbia and Montenegro H.E. Mr. Takahiko Katsumata and Mr. Tatsuro Masuda, the first secretary in Embassy of Japan in Belgrade. During that occasion, the development of the Western Balkan Region, especially Montenegro, was discussed. Topics included energy, agriculture, and tourism.
ADRIATIC BRIDGE PARTNERS representatives had a great chance to meet with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA Balkan office) representatives in Belgrade on August 2nd. On August 2nd, ABP representatives met with Mr. Masahiro Ueki, the director, and Mrs. Yumiko Saito, the project formulation adviser. During the meeting, it presented the potential and importance of their valorization for Montenegro and the West Balkan region, but opinions about future projects in the region had been expressed.
On August 1st, ADRIATIC BRIDGE PARTNERS representatives had a great chance to meet with the minister of capital investment of Montenegro, Mr. Ervin Ibrahimovic (MSc), and the secretary of state Mr. Admir Sahmanovic. On that occasion, it was discovered about a couple of topics and possible investment of Japanese companies in Montenegro, especially in the energy sector.

A representative of Adriatic Bridge Partners met with the Ministry of Capital Investments, Mr. Mladen Bojanic, and his associates, to discuss the possibility of assessing the potential and investment in the energy sector in Montenegro. At the meeting, interest was expressed in greater investment in Montenegro by Japanese companies and in other sectors, but also in strengthening economic relations between the two countries.
